Dermal Fillers should be delivered in a medical setting in a clinic fully registered and insured to carry out these procedures. Aftercare is as important as treatment, so it is essential your treatment is in a clinic that can offer ongoing medical support.
Dermal Fillers are made of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring molecule we find in our skin. HA acts like a sponge, attracting water and helping to hydrate and cushion our skin cells. As we age our levels of HA drop, making our skin feel less hydrated and contributing to the development of lines and wrinkles.
Dermal Fillers are one of several treatments that can help soften lines and wrinkles and more importantly, restore lost volume in the deeper skin layers, as we age. When administered subtly Dermal Fillers can be used to enhance these areas of lost volume, giving skin a lifted, firmer appearance, restoring volume and contour to the face.
At EMA we work very subtly with dermal fillers, our goal is not to create additional volume but restore volume lost over the years due to the natural ageing process.
There is a fashion at the moment for excessive enhancement of cheeks and lips, which we are not an advocate of, so please be aware before you make a booking, that our work is subtle and natural.
